YAWMO®
YAWMO® 600
Robust and flexible position sensor for optimizing turbine control.

The YAWMO®-/PITCHMO® 600 is based on the ISA 600 series and detects the exact position of a wind turbine nacelle and the angle of each rotor blade. The tried and tested singleturn and multi-turn rotary encoder renders the position – via inductive scanning – immune to vibration, moisture, dust, heat and cold. Large-diameter ball bearings reduce the number of costly components and obviates the need for a conventional bearing block. The wide selection of fieldbus interfaces ensures compatibility with almost any kind of wind turbine control system. The 19-bit encoder/single-turn resolution is further optimized by a backlashed, customer-specific gear so that permanent contact with the gearing of the wind turbine can be guaranteed at all times.

The YAWMO®/PITCHMO® 900 is based on the FSI 900 series and contains an integrated electronic limit switch with position sensor and fieldbus interface. A dual-channel single-turn and multi-turn position sensor that uses inductive scanning ensures a functionally safe solution with limit switches in accordance with SIL 2, PLd/Cat. 3. Failsafe relays included. The exact gear position and other information can be queried at any time. The modular design offers easy customization to match the WT design and allows the use of a backlashed, customer-specific gear for optimized system resolution and turbine control. Software is included that lets the customer make custom configurations and carry out device monitoring and diagnostics.

EQN 425 - Absolute multiturn encoder with stator coupling
In addition to the lifetime and robustness is the specialty of the EQN 425-series to have an additional 1 Vpp signal which is used as a reference for certain versions to check the output signal. The high range of working temperature allows a flexible usage.
IxA 608 - Absolute inductive encoder with robust ball bearings
The 608 absolute position encoder can be provided as multiturn encoder in solid or hollow shaft design. The inductive scanning in combination with robust ball bearing allows high durability in demanding environments. This 58mm product is well known and highly used in the market. You can get the singleturn version as IxA 607 encoder.
ROQ 425 - Absolute multiturn encoder with clamping or synchro flange
In addition to the lifetime and robustness is the specialty of the ROQ 425-series to have an additional 1 Vpp signal which is used as a reference for certain versions to check the output signal. The high range of working temperature allows a flexible usage.
RxA 608 - Absolute multiturn encoder with digital interface
The RxA 608 absolute multiturn encoder is the right choice for tough environment where reliable data is necessary like in pitch and yaw systems.

The 607 absolute position encoder can be provided as single encoder in solid or hollow shaft design. The inductive scanning in combination with robust ball bearing allows high durability in demanding environments. This 58mm product is well known and highly used in the market. You can get the multiturn version as IxA 608 encoder.
RxA 507 - Robust and versatile absolute encoder
The versatile and modular 500er series encoder are available in shaft or hollow shaft design, which ensures simple installation. The absolute encoder series offers a 13bit singleturn resolution in a ruggedized design.

Accessories
Fieldbus gateway for encoder with EnDat interface
The fieldbus gateway for encoder with EnDat interface provides the functionality according to the CANopen, DeviceNet or PROFIBUS DP protocol. This allows to be highly flexible in connecting robust encoder to fieldbuses.

Signal converter for frequency to analogue and serial output
The signal converter unit is able to convert frequncy to analogue or serial signals from incremental encoder with TTL, HTL or RS-422 interface. In a compact DIN housing the converter is prepared for rail mounting. Several output signal types like analogue (current, voltage) or serial (RS-232/RS-485) are available.
